Belief – You believe that the team’s current task and long-term goals are important. Positive beliefs are the sparks that help you act and speak positively about your team.
Choose Enthusiastic Friends – You choose to be around others who share enthusiasm for the team’s goals.
Examples of Enthusiastic Teammates:
You don’t wait, you are the first to warm-up, roll mats out, line up for uniforms You do more, extra laps, extra reps, lifting on your own, help with the youth program You only settle for your best, when you outmatch someone winning isn’t enough, you don’t want to be scored on. You are the first one running laps at the beginning of practice You spend most of the dual meet out of your chair getting your team pumped up You talk about everyone on the team in a positive way
