Relational

Solid relationships hold teams together through adversity.

Five characteristics of a solid relationship:

Respect – Give it freely but earn it from everyone.

Shared Experiences – Spend time outside of the room with your team.

Trust – Believe your teammate will do their job.

Reciprocity – You give to your team freely, but receive as much as you give.

Mutual Enjoyment – Being around your team is fun, even unpleasant tasks turn positive.

Examples of building solid relationships:

Help others in a way that won’t benefit yourself.
Don’t back out on plans with teammates.
You know why a teammate is having a bad day and care.
You invite new teammates when you are hanging out or going somewhere.
When your teammate does a good job, let them know.
Speak to everyone on the team with respect.
Speak about everyone on the team with respect.
