Solution Oriented
Thinking in terms of solutions rather than focusing on problems.
Problem or Obstacle – Deciding failures are a temporary setback rather than a problem.
Problems are Solvable – Focusing on why a solution will work rather then why it won’t.
Problems Result in Growth – Problems either stop you or stretch you so you get better.
Examples of Solution Oriented teammates:
You don’t give up when you are put in impossible odds. You have a plan for when you are down by a lot of points. You talk to your teammates about beating tough teams. You sometimes do things opposite from standard technique to overcome your weakness. You try again. You use a good process to solve new problems. You don’t get upset when you get bumped to win a dual. You seek out tough competition with records much better then yours. You are not scared off by rankings, traditionally tough teams, impressive physiques, and the like.
